Cultivation methods and precautions of money tree

1. Soil

It is recommended to use loose, fertile, well-drained, organic, and acidic loam as the potting soil.

2. Lighting

Full sunlight is needed in winter, and direct sunlight should be avoided in late spring and early summer. Scattered light is best.

3. Temperature

He requires that the annual average temperature difference should be relatively small, and the optimal temperature should be between 20-32℃. When the temperature is higher than 35℃ in summer, you can spray water to cool it down; in winter, keep the room temperature above 10℃ and it can safely spend the winter; when the temperature drops below 8℃ in late autumn and early winter, move it to a sunny place.

4. Watering

It is relatively drought-resistant, so just keep the soil in the pot slightly moist and dry. When the temperature reaches above 34°C in summer, it is best to water it every day; the amount of watering can be reduced in autumn and winter.

5. Fertilization

It likes fertilizer very much, and diluted liquid fertilizer should be introduced every 10 days or so during the growing season. Thin cake fertilizer water can be used before and after flowering.

6. Notes

There are three ways to propagate Money Tree: cuttings, division, and leaf cuttings. In comparison, the survival rate of division is relatively high. At noon and in early summer when the rain stops, you should pay attention to sun protection and provide appropriate shade for the plants. In winter evenings, you can cover the plants with double-layer plastic bags to avoid frostbite.
