When does the erythrina flower bloom?

When does the erythrina flower bloom?

1. When does it bloom?

Due to regional and climatic differences, the flowering time varies slightly between the north and the south. Because the temperature in the south is higher, the flowers usually bloom in February and March. Because the temperature in the north is lower, the flowers usually do not bloom until April and May. After blooming, the flowers are bright red in color and shaped like a string of peppers, which is very pleasing and beautiful. But the flowers do not stay open for long and soon wither, so the beautiful scenery does not last very long.

2. How to maintain more flowers

1. Sunlight: It likes places with sufficient sunlight. Only by ensuring good light conditions can it develop well and bloom more flowers. Begin increasing the length of light exposure from late autumn to accumulate nutrients.

2. Temperature: This is very critical. It cannot withstand the cold and is easily frostbite. In late October, it can be moved indoors for maintenance. The temperature during the winter needs to be maintained at around 15℃, and at least not lower than 4℃, otherwise it will affect the flowering problem in the following year.

3. Pruning: Old and dead branches should be pruned in time to reduce the waste of nutrients and accumulate nutrients for flowering.
