How to grow Hoya in autumn

1. Loosen the soil

In autumn, it is best to use a small shovel to slightly loosen the soil of the ball orchid to increase its air permeability. This will allow fresh air to enter the soil more easily, allowing its roots to breathe better air, thus helping it grow better.

2. Fertilization

After autumn, you need to add some flower fertilizer to support its growth. However, do not apply too much or too concentrated fertilizer, otherwise it will not be absorbed by the plants and will remain in the soil, causing damage to the plant's root system. Specifically, apply cake fertilizer water 1-2 times a month.

3. Watering

It likes moisture, but is also very afraid of waterlogging. The best way to water it is to adjust it according to the temperature. At the beginning of autumn, because the temperature is not very low, you can water it a little more to provide sufficient water for its growth. As autumn approaches, the temperature will be lower and its growth rate will slow down, so the water requirement will also decrease. At this time, you can water it a little less to prevent it from being waterlogged.

4. Temperature

It is relatively afraid of cold and the temperature needs to be maintained above 10℃ in autumn. If this temperature cannot be reached, it must be adjusted to above 5℃, otherwise it may be frozen.
