How to grow Monstera in autumn

1. Pay attention to heat preservation

It is relatively afraid of cold, and the suitable temperature for its growth is around 30 degrees Celsius. After entering autumn, the temperature changes frequently, and the weather often drops suddenly. Therefore, when maintaining the plants, you must pay attention to keeping warm and move them indoors in time for maintenance. If necessary, use heating equipment to increase the temperature. However, be careful not to get close to the heating equipment, as it may cause damage to the leaves.

2. Reduce the amount of watering

Since its native habitat is in the tropical rainforest, it likes a humid environment and the soil in the pot must not be too dry. In summer, due to the high temperature, the evaporation rate will be fast, so the amount of watering will increase.

However, in autumn, the temperature drops sharply and the evaporation rate will slow down accordingly, so you can reduce watering. Watering once every 2 to 3 days can meet its normal growth needs. Be careful not to allow water to accumulate in the pot.
