How do Margarite flowers survive the winter?

How do Margarite flowers survive the winter?

1. Soil

It is actually very obvious what environment the Marguerite flower likes. It can be seen from its flowering period that it definitely does not like the winter season. Judging from its nature, it will be very happy in spring and autumn, and its owner will not have to worry about it. It likes a cool environment, but cool does not mean cold. It would be terrible if its soil freezes. The frozen soil is particularly harmful to the plant itself. However, it must be watered. The soil cannot be without water. If it is completely dry, Margarite will lack water, which is very different from the humid environment it likes.

2. Temperature

Generally speaking, it is best to keep plants indoors in the winter. If the temperature is kept between 18 and 25 degrees, you basically don't have to worry about many other problems. This temperature is quite normal. There is no need to worry in the north as there is heating. In the south, if the indoor temperature is low, you can turn on the air conditioner or use a fire to warm it up. In short, the temperature should be suitable.

3. Lighting

The light is strongest in summer, while it is quite weak in winter. If there is no sun at ordinary times, there is nothing you can do. But if the sun is out, it is best to place the plant in a place with strong light. It will be easier to bloom if you give it sufficient sunlight. However, while ensuring sunlight, you must pay attention to the temperature. If there is sunlight but the temperature is low, it will not be worth it.

4. Pruning

Pruning branches is very important. Generally speaking, proper pruning will have a great impact on the overall beauty of the potted plants. If done well, it can become an art. But in addition to the ornamental effect, pruning in winter also plays a big role in the growth of the plant. This flower has a very long flowering period. Winter is the time when it sheds its leaves and stamens. At this time, we have to cut off all its dead branches and leaves so that the energy and nutrient solution can be more concentrated, so that those healthy branches can grow better. Only healthy branches grow better.
