How to grow Dongyun succulent

1. Breeding environment

1. Soil: It is best to choose soil that is breathable and well-drained when growing cloudy succulents. You can mix granular soil and peat soil for use.

2. Watering: Water thoroughly. Growth will slow down in summer, so the amount of watering should be controlled. After the soil becomes dry, you can water in small amounts. If the amount of watering is too large, water will accumulate and root rot will occur. When watering, do not splash water on the leaves to avoid burns from sunlight.

3. Light: It needs a sunny growing environment, but it cannot be exposed to direct sunlight. When the light is too strong in summer, it needs to be shaded. It is best to place it in a ventilated place to avoid rotting or pests and diseases.

2. Breeding Methods

Seed propagation: First, you need to prepare flower pots and suitable soil. The seeds are generally very small. You can put them on paper first, use a toothpick dipped in water to light the seeds, and then plant them in the flower pot. If you sow the seeds directly, the growth will be very uneven and difficult to control after they grow out. Do not cover the seeds with soil, and do not insert the seeds into the soil. Just place the seeds on the surface of the soil, and finally cover them with a layer of film and poke a few small holes for ventilation.

3. Common pests and diseases

1. Black spot disease: This is a very common disease, mostly caused by dark light or high humidity. The spots will continue to expand. Once discovered, timely prevention and treatment should be carried out, and it should be placed in a ventilated and bright growing environment.

2. Scale insects: They are very harmful and common, affecting the normal growth of Dongyun succulents. They are most common in spring and reproduce very quickly. They can be captured and eliminated manually, or sprayed with pesticides for prevention and control.
