How to grow durian

1. Planting

The best time for sowing is in spring every year. The row spacing should be kept at about 20 cm. The soil should be thoroughly watered after sowing. During the seedling period, attention should be paid to weeding and fertilization should be combined to achieve the purpose of promoting seedling growth.

2. Planting of seedlings

When the seedlings reach a height of 30 to 40 cm, they can be transplanted. Organic fertilizer, soil fertilizer and an appropriate amount of limestone should be applied as base fertilizer. It is best to plant them with soil.

3. Fertilization management

Durian trees need to be fertilized four times a year. Once in spring when the plants are budding, once in summer when the fruits begin to grow, once after the fruits are ripe, some time before picking the fruits, and once again after picking the fruits.
