How to plant peach pits to germinate

1. Preparation before sowing

Select peach pits with full seeds, gently smash the outer shell of the peach pit, being careful not to damage the peach pit inside, and soak the peach pits in 45-degree water.

2. Germination Treatment

After soaking for 1 to 2 days, the fruit core will sprout. At this time, you should remove the fruit core and gently peel off the skin of the fruit core where the sprout occurs. Place 3 to 4 layers of gauze in the container, soak it with warm water, then place the fruit core on it, then cover the head and tail of the fruit core with gauze, then cover the container with a plastic bag and place it in a warm place for curing.

3. Planting method

About 3 to 4 days later, when the small buds on the fruit core have grown up, peel off the outer skin of the fruit core, plant it with the budding part facing down in a flowerpot with sandy soil prepared in advance. After planting, cover the surface of the container with a layer of plastic film and place it in a warm place for maintenance. Buds will grow in about 1 week.
