How to care for dahlias

How to care for dahlias

1. Water

Dahlias prefer a humid environment and generally cannot tolerate drought, but they do not need to be watered too much. Too much water should also be avoided to cause waterlogging. Too much drought can easily cause the leaves to turn yellow and wither, but too much moisture can easily cause root rot, so do not water them too much.

2. Fertilizer

It needs sufficient fertilizer supply during its growth process. When applying fertilizer, you cannot just focus on applying it. You need to apply thin fertilizer and more frequently. Forgetting to apply fertilizer or applying too much will be counterproductive.

3. Lighting

The lighting condition is essential and cannot be ignored. It is also relatively easy and simple to meet this condition. Just allow it to get sufficient sunlight.

4. Temperature

Dahlias prefer to grow in a cooler climate, around 10 to 25 degrees Celsius.
