How to fertilize lucky bamboo

How to fertilize lucky bamboo

1. Soil culture fertilization method

When fertilizing lucky bamboo grown in soil, apply small amounts frequently and apply sufficient base fertilizer during cultivation. During the growth period, nitrogen fertilizer can be used as the main fertilizer, and a small amount of foliar fertilizer can also be used. The amount of fertilizer should not be too high, otherwise it will easily burn the roots. Usually in spring and autumn, fertilizer can be applied once every half a month or a month, and fertilization should generally be suspended in severe winter. Be careful not to apply concentrated fertilizer or unrotted fertilizer. After the plant has reproduced and taken root, you can apply some compound fertilizer to make its branches and trunks stronger.

2. Hydroponic fertilization method

For hydroponics, you can add appropriate nutrient solution to it, but do not use chemical fertilizers. You can also make your own fertilizer at home. Use 500 grams of water to dissolve half a tablet of aspirin or a tablet of VC into powder, and then add a few drops when changing the water.
