When should the weeping angel be repotted?

When should the weeping angel be repotted?

1. Time to change pots

It is suitable to repot the weeping angel in spring and autumn, and avoid repotting in winter when the temperature is low, as this may cause frostbite to the roots, which will be difficult to recover once frozen. Normally, the plant needs to be repotted once a year. Before repotting, water less and keep the soil dry so that it is easier to remove the plant from the pot.

2. How to change the pot

1. Trim off the dry leaves and stems, prepare new potting soil, and try not to choose a flowerpot that is too big or too deep. Just choose a size that is suitable for the weeping angel.

2. Keep the soil close to the roots and discard the rest. Use scissors to cut off rotten or overly long roots, but be careful not to accidentally damage strong roots.

3. Place the treated plants into the newly prepared potting soil, cover them with new soil, water them thoroughly, and place them in a cool place for maintenance.

3. Notes

1. Be careful when repotting and do not move the strong roots and leaves. Do not apply fertilizer immediately after repotting. Wait until the plant has basically resumed normal growth before applying fertilizer.

2. If the root system is injured when repotting, the leaves will wilt. This is not caused by lack of fertilizer. You need to give it time to recover. When it has almost recovered, you can place it in a place with scattered light for maintenance.
