How to grow a fortune tree to make it flourish

1. Proper watering

The amount of watering for the money tree should be controlled, and no excess water should be allowed to accumulate in the flowerpot. If the roots are in water for a long time, the roots will rot. When watering, the principle is to keep the soil moist. Water more in the hot summer, there should be enough water during the peak growth period, and the amount of watering should be significantly reduced in winter.

2. Sufficient light

The money tree likes sunlight. If you want it to grow more luxuriantly, you need to expose it to more sunlight and give it enough light. When exposed to the sun, the leaves should be facing the sun to avoid them becoming twisted. It must not be left in a dark environment for a long time. However, when the sunlight is strong in summer, it should be properly shaded.

3. Reasonable fertilization

It can only grow more luxuriantly with sufficient nutrients. It likes fertilizer and can be fertilized once every half a month. It is best to use fully decomposed liquid fertilizer. Be careful not to apply too much fertilizer to avoid burning the roots. Applying too little fertilizer is not good either, as the plants will grow poorly due to lack of sufficient nutrients.

4. Pay attention to ventilation

When caring for the money tree, it is necessary to ventilate it frequently and the growing environment should not be too humid and stuffy. Especially in the summer, if you do not pay attention to ventilation, diseases and pests will easily occur. If you want to open the window in winter, it is best to do it at noon. There will be cold air in the morning and evening, which may cause frostbite.
