How to grow aloe vera quickly

How to grow aloe vera quickly

1. Suitable soil

Only when the plant grows in good soil can it grow fast. It has many requirements for soil. Water retention should be good because the demand for water is relatively large. It also needs to have good fertilizer retention properties and provide sufficient nutrients. It also has to be breathable, otherwise you won’t be able to breathe well. Also pay attention to the pH value, it is best to choose neutral soil.

2. Change the soil regularly

Not only does the soil need to be selected well, but it also needs to be replaced regularly to ensure that the plants grow quickly. Generally speaking, the soil can be replaced twice a year.

3. Appropriate amount of fertilizer

Fertilizer is very important. It can promote rapid growth of plants when there is insufficient nutrients in the soil. You can use animal manure or commercially available compound fertilizer. The frequency and amount of fertilization should be determined according to the specific growth conditions. If the temperature is high and the growth is fast, you can apply more. Be careful not to overdo the nitrogen fertilizer.

4. Water correctly

Watering methods are different in each season. Water it once a day in summer. In spring and autumn, it happens about once every three to five days. Only when sufficient water is provided can the plants grow fast. In winter, you can water it once when the soil is dry. It is best not to water at noon.

5. Pest and disease control

Pests and diseases have a great impact on the growth rate of plants. Therefore, when symptoms are discovered, immediate action must be taken to reduce damage to the plants.
