1. Breeding environment

1. Soil: When growing Wenzhou element, try to use loose and breathable soil. Do not use too sticky soil, which is not conducive to its growth.

2. Watering: Water more when the weather is clear, and reduce the amount of watering in rainy weather. It is best to water during the day in spring and autumn; do not water at noon in summer, it is best to water at night; in winter, water should be applied in the afternoon.

3. Light: It can receive sufficient light in spring, avoid exposure to strong sunlight in summer, and can be placed in a sunny place indoors in winter.

2. Breeding Methods

1. Seeding propagation: Seeding should generally be carried out in early spring, and the soil must be disinfected before sowing. Sow the seeds evenly in the culture soil without covering them with soil, which will help them germinate.

2. Propagation by division: Division is usually carried out during the semi-dormant period, and is best done in September or October. The soil in the pot should not be too moist before division. Keep the soil slightly dry to reduce root breakage. Generally, division is carried out once every 3-4 years.

3. Common pests and diseases

Common diseases and pests include anthracnose and whiteflies. Once discovered, you should buy pesticides and spray them in time to avoid harming more plants. Anthracnose can be killed by spraying with carbendazim, and whiteflies can be killed by spraying with sulfamethoxazole.
