How to grow ivory trees

How to grow ivory trees

1. Soil

Ivory trees do not grow well in poorly drained soil. It is advisable to choose sandy soil that is fertile, deep and loose, which is conducive to the absorption of nutrients and can promote its later growth.

2. Temperature

It likes high temperatures, and an environment of 23-32℃ is most suitable for its growth and health. In the summer, it can be grown outdoors by cuttings. In the winter, attention should be paid to keeping warm. It is recommended to cultivate it in a greenhouse or indoors. Staying below 5℃ for a long time will cause frostbite or even death.

3. Fertilization

During cultivation, there should be sufficient water and fertilizer. In addition to applying base fertilizer, apply dilute organic fertilizer water at least once a month. The fertilization site should be changed every year.

4. Watering

It is more suitable for a humid surrounding environment and needs to be sprayed with water regularly, and you can use a spray bottle to spray it on the leaves. Soil loosening and drainage should be carried out regularly.

5. Lighting

It prefers a high temperature, humid and sunny environment and should be given sufficient light during the summer. When growing it, it needs to be planted in a place where it can be directly exposed to sunlight.

6. Notes

1. Pay attention to insect and disease prevention. The soil should be disinfected regularly. When there are more pests in spring, pesticides such as miticide can be used for prevention and control.

2. It grows relatively slowly and has a long growth period, so it is recommended to be cultivated indoors for a long time. It can also be trimmed into various shapes to increase its ornamental value.
