How to grow jade tree quickly

How to grow jade tree quickly

1. Soil

Jade plant is not very demanding on soil, it is best to choose fertile, loose sandy soil.

2. Water

The soil in the pot should not be too moist, and water should not accumulate. Generally, it should be watered once every 2-3 days. In the summer when the temperature is high, the amount of watering should be appropriately increased, and ventilation should be strengthened, otherwise it will easily cause leaves to fall. In winter, when the temperature is low, reduce the amount of watering appropriately. Check the soil in the pot before watering. If it is slightly dry, it is more suitable for watering.

3. Fertilization

In order to make the jade plant grow better, the amount of fertilizer should not be too large to avoid excessive growth. During its growth period, top dressing is required, and decomposed cake fertilizer should be applied about 2-3 times a month. Before changing the soil or planting, you should apply enough base fertilizer. You can add bone meal and various cake fertilizers to the culture soil.

4. Temperature

The suitable temperature for jade tree growth is 20-30℃. Spring and autumn are the most suitable seasons for growth. The temperature in summer cannot exceed 38℃, otherwise it will grow slowly or enter a dormant period; the temperature in winter cannot be lower than 5℃, otherwise it will be frozen or die.

5. Lighting

In the hot summer, you need to provide shade to prevent it from being exposed to direct sunlight. In other seasons, it can receive sunlight all day long. If it is grown indoors, it should be moved to a sunny location frequently. If there is insufficient light in winter, artificial light can be removed.
