How to divide the Avalokitesvara yinensis

How to divide the Avalokitesvara yinensis

Why is it suitable for division?

We all know that only those plants with strong sprouting ability or clumping properties are suitable for division. Then we can understand that the plant we are talking about meets these requirements.

Specific methods

We use this method of reproduction and there are two ways to do it.

The first one is to cut off the top, which is commonly known as "beheading". First of all, we have to choose healthy and well-growing plants as mother plants. After choosing, we need to choose the right position and cut it off neatly with a sharp knife. Don't hesitate and aim at the right position. After cutting it down, we need to deal with this part, that is, clean the lower part, and then put it on paper to dry, just one night will do. Then, wait for the cut part to grow new roots in the air before planting it in a new container.

The second method is to use its leaves for reproduction, which is relatively more commonly used. First of all, we have to choose healthy leaves that are free of pests and diseases and not withered, and take them off intact. Note that it must be complete, otherwise the probability of survival will not be high. Then, we also need to dry it in the sun. This method takes a longer time, about a week. After drying, place it in a moist substrate and place it in a ventilated, cool place. After waiting for about half a month, the small plants will grow out, which means it is a success. In addition, one thing that needs to be noted is that you can expose it to light appropriately during this period.
