Master these four simple points to make your pearl spider plant grow beautifully!

1. Time of fertilization

Generally, fertilization should not be done in the morning, otherwise the fertilizer will be attached to the surface of the leaves and after a day of sun exposure, the fertilizer is likely to decompose in the sun and easily cause damage to the leaves. Therefore, it is generally chosen to apply fertilizer in the evening, so that it can fully absorb the nutrients of the fertilizer at night and avoid some of the shortcomings of fertilizing during the day.

In addition, it is generally recommended to apply fertilizer when it is growing vigorously. For example, in winter, it will enter a dormant period, and fertilizing at this time will not achieve better results.

2. Frequency of fertilization

As mentioned earlier, fertilization should be carried out during its growing season. If it enters a dormant period, do not fertilize it. During the growing season, fertilizer is generally applied once every half a month, and the amount of fertilizer applied each time should not be too much. Too much fertilizer cannot be fully absorbed and will have the opposite effect.

3. Fertilizer selection

The selection of fertilizers should be scientific, and generally organic fertilizers are applied, which is conducive to its absorption. The dilution ratio of the concentration should also be appropriate. According to relevant research, nitrogen-containing fertilizer with a concentration of about 0.2% is very suitable for its growth. This kind of fertilizer can make its leaves grow rounder and greener.

4. Fertilizer spraying method

Use a spray bottle to spray fertilizer, mainly on its leaves. Control the flow of fertilizer when spraying, and make sure all leaves can absorb the fertilizer. However, do not apply too much, otherwise it will affect its growth.

Another thing to note is that there are not many pests and diseases that pose a threat to it, so don't worry too much about this. You just need to spray it with some pesticides as a preventive measure when the seasons change.
