How to grow Jade Plants so that they will bloom

Plant habits

Only by understanding its characteristics can we better deal with various factors. First of all, because it is originally distributed in tropical regions, it has certain requirements for temperature. The second is water. Not too much, otherwise it will not only fail to bloom out of the pot, but its roots will rot and the leaves will turn yellow and fall off. Another thing is sunlight. It requires a lot of it. If it is kept in the shade for a long time, it will be very unfavorable for it to bloom. Then, practices such as repotting can also promote its blooming to a certain extent.

Specific approach

Temperature: The first thing is of course the temperature. If the temperature drops to about five degrees Celsius, its leaves will fall off in large numbers. Therefore, keeping the temperature above ten degrees is more conducive to its blooming. You can ignore it in other seasons, but especially in winter, you must not take it lightly.

Sunlight: You can give it as much light as possible, which can help it bloom. However, of course, except during the high temperatures in summer, especially at noon, in order to prevent it from being exposed to the scorching sun, appropriate shading measures can be taken.

Watering: Although it cannot be waterlogged, proper watering will still help it bloom. When watering, we need to follow a general principle, that is, do not water when the soil is not dry, wait until it is completely dry before watering, and try to water it thoroughly when watering, but be careful not to let water accumulate in the pot soil.

Repotting: If you want it to bloom, it is best to repot it regularly. We can do it every two to three years, and the soil can be sandy soil with good aeration and drainage properties. This process can also be combined with pruning.
