1. Water quality

Most plants do not have special requirements for water, and this plant is no exception. However, in order to make it grow better, the water can also be treated to a certain extent. This plant likes a slightly acidic environment, so adding a proper amount of something that can make it slightly acidic can better improve the growth conditions of this plant - especially the quality of the soil.

2. Frequency

When watering, attention should be paid to the interval between each watering, and during the interval, the use of fertilizer should be appropriately increased. The frequency of watering should be determined according to the situation. Different growth conditions have different requirements. Generally speaking, plants maintained outdoors need to be watered slightly more frequently, usually every 3-12 days, while outdoors, they need to be watered every 6-18 days. Each time you water, the soil should be moistened enough, and Huabao should be used once between every two waterings. Generally, Huabao should be used at least twice a week.

3. Summer

Many people think that they should water more in summer, but this is actually wrong. Because the temperature is too high, this plant stops growing, so the frequency should be appropriately reduced. Generally, outdoor plants are watered every 9-15 days, while indoor plants are watered every 12-21 days. When watering, choose to do it at night or in the early morning when the temperature is lower, and keep the leaves dry at night.

4. Winter

The watering intervals need to be longer in winter, and the time for watering should be chosen at noon on sunny days when the temperature is higher. Generally speaking, whether indoors or outdoors, water no more than twice a month and keep the plants dry at all times.

5. Notes

This plant likes humidity, but too much humidity, especially water accumulation on the leaves, is very detrimental to the growth of this plant. When the cuttings are just taken, you need to water the leaves on sunny days when the temperature is high, but you cannot water them on rainy days or at night. During the normal growing season, the leaves must be kept dry at night.

When you have just started sowing, you cannot water it in the usual way. Instead, you should place the flower pot in a basin of water and wait for the water to seep upwards.
