Daily maintenance of Dripping Guanyin

The soil requirements of the dripping Guanyin

Although the weeping angel plant does not have very high requirements for soil, I have tried ordinary garden soil, nutrient soil, and pure sand, and found that the weeping angel plant grown in garden soil grew relatively slowly, was thin and felt malnourished; the weeping angel plant grown in pure sand grew well in the seedling stage, but the effect was not good in the later stage, and the weeping angel plant was relatively short; the weeping angel plant grown in nutrient soil had strong plants, large leaves, and grew very fast. It took about 6 months for my weeping angel plant to grow from a seedling to more than one meter in height.

Note: Flower lovers who have the conditions should choose better soil. It is not necessary to use nutrient soil. You can prepare more fertile and permeable soil yourself.

What kind of flower pot should be used for the Dripping Guanyin

Some flower lovers like to use small pots to grow weeping angels, while others like to use large pots. Here I have to say that if flower lovers want to grow a small potted plant, then there is no problem growing the weeping angel in a small pot. Moreover, since the roots of the weeping angel are restricted, it will not grow very large. However, if flower lovers want the weeping angel to grow very large and place it in the living room as a large green decoration, then you must choose a larger pot. According to experience, the larger the pot, the stronger and better the weeping angel will grow.

The environment that Dripping Guanyin likes

The weeping angel prefers a semi-shady environment, but some flower lovers' weeping angels also grow well directly in the yard. Here I want to explain to flower lovers why other people's flowers can grow well in a certain environment, but yours cannot. The plant itself has a process of adapting to the external environment. Although the weeping angel prefers a semi-shaded environment, in order to survive, it will also adapt to other environments. However, this requires a process. This is why some flower lovers will say that their flowers will not die no matter how they grow them. That’s because this pot of flowers has adapted to the environment.

How to water the dripping Guanyin

Most plants grow fastest in slightly moist soil. Some flower lovers ask others honestly how often they should water the flowers. If they do as others say, the flowers will basically die. Why do they say that? The reason why they should water the flowers is because the soil is dry and they need to water them. But why does the soil dry? Because the plants absorb the water and it evaporates naturally, with evaporation accounting for the majority of the water. Every family’s situation is different! It depends on your actual situation.

Method: For the Weeping Guanyin in a small pot, water it when the soil is dry, and make sure the water can leak out of the pot. Large, deep basin. When the surface of the potting soil is dry, you can dig up the surface soil to see the color. If the soil underneath is moist or damp, then there is no need to water it. Generally speaking, there is no problem with watering a deep pot for half a month or even a month without watering.

Pest control of dripping guanyin

The most common pests and diseases of the weeping angel are red spider mites and aphids. The symptoms are yellowing leaves, white spots on the surface, weak plants, and webs on the leaves. To deal with it, you can use a rag with light soapy water to clean the leaves. Both the north and front sides should be cleaned, and then rinsed with clean water. Large pots can be cleaned with a spray, once every two or three days. For a week, the effect will be more obvious.
