This is how jasmine flowers die in winter! Be careful!

1. Caused by frost damage

When the temperature in winter is lower than 3 to 5 degrees, the physiological mechanism of the entire plant will be severely damaged, which will directly affect its growth, especially when the temperature has dropped to 3 degrees. It will be even worse for it. In severe cases, it will be very easy for the entire plant to die. So this is also a very important point to prevent it from dying. The temperature must be controlled in winter. When the temperature drops to 5 to 10 degrees, we need to move it to a sunny place. When the temperature is below 0 degrees, you can cover the flowerpot and the bottom with some plastic bags, and place it in a cool, dark place outside the room, and maintain the temperature at 3 to 5 degrees. Or place it in a sunny place above 0 degrees to let it hibernate. Remove the plastic bags every week to allow it to ventilate.

2. Caused by too wet soil

Some friends, in the hope that it can grow better, will water it excessively, which will easily make the soil in the pot too wet. Especially when the temperature is below 10 degrees, it will easily be in a dormant state, and the soil in the pot will have very little demand for water. If you water it too much, its roots will be in a state of poor ventilation for a long time, which will make it difficult for it to breathe and cause it to die. So it is very important not to let the soil in the pot be too wet.

3. Caused by too dry soil

As mentioned above, the soil in the pot cannot be too wet, otherwise it will easily die, so many people think that they don’t need to water it, but they don’t know that if they don’t water it for too long, the soil in the pot will become too dry, and it will dry up and die. In fact, when the soil in the pot starts to turn white and feels hard when touched by hand, you can just water it a little when the sunlight is good.
