How to fertilize Cineraria

How to fertilize Cineraria

Fertilization during the growing season

Fertilize once every 7 to 10 days during its growth period. You can recycle cake fertilizer and compound fertilizer of potassium, phosphorus and nitrogen. This will allow the plant to grow better, but the concentration of the fertilizer must be light.

Fertilize after planting

Under normal circumstances, fertilizer should be applied every half a month after planting. You can choose special fertilizers sold on the market. However, the ratio must be strictly in accordance with the instructions for use of the fertilizer and should not be too concentrated.

Fertilize during the bud stage

When flower buds appear, apply potassium and phosphorus fertilizers once or twice. Try to use fertilizers that do not contain nitrogen. This will allow the flower buds to grow better and avoid excessive leaf growth.

Precautions

Before the flowers bloom, the application of nitrogen fertilizer must be strictly controlled, watering must be reduced, and the temperature should not be too high, otherwise it will affect the opening effect of the flowers.

When applying fertilizer, you must pay attention to the content of various elements to make the nutrition of the plants more even so that they can grow in a healthier state.

Although it likes to grow in a humid environment, if too much fertilizer is applied and water accumulates, its roots will be unable to breathe, resulting in the nutrients in the fertilizer not being well absorbed, so the amount of fertilizer must also be controlled.

When fertilizing, try not to get fertilizer on the leaves.

During the rainy season, fertilization should be stopped or applied in small amounts.
