How to Plant Marigold Seeds

1. Habits of marigold

Marigolds prefer warm and sunny environments. Its flowers are cold-resistant and drought-resistant. 2. Details to pay attention to when planting marigolds

① When watering marigold potted seeds, make sure the soil is not too dry, but also not too moist. Too much moisture will cause root rot. The amount of fertilizer should also be moderate, otherwise excessive fertilizer will easily cause the branches and leaves of the marigold to grow too lush, and flowering will be delayed, especially the disease resistance will be weakened. Of course, fertilization should be paid attention to after the branches and shoots appear and after transplanting. No fertilization is required before the branches and shoots appear.

② It is best to place the planted potted plants outdoors in a ventilated and sunny place, but if it is summer, you should avoid strong sunlight and place the marigold potted plants in a cool place. Before the sprouts appear, the soil temperature should be maintained at 20℃ to 25℃, and the soil humidity should be above 85%, and the air humidity is the same. The pH of the soil for marigolds should be between 6.2 and 6.5.

③During winter nights, measures should be taken to keep the marigold seed pots warm, such as moving the pots indoors.
