How to grow African jasmine indoors

How to grow African jasmine indoors

Indoor farming method:

1. Temperature: The suitable temperature for its growth is between 18 and 32 degrees. If the temperature exceeds 38 degrees in summer, it will stop growing. Pay attention to keep warm in winter, and the temperature must not drop below 3 degrees. If it stays in an environment below 3 degrees for a long time, it is easy to get frostbite. You don’t have to worry about the temperature when raising them indoors, but be careful to keep them away from the vents of cooling and heating equipment.

2. Light: African jasmine likes light very much, so when placing it indoors, choose a place where light can penetrate, but avoid the strongest light at noon, or you can block it with a layer of shelter. If there is no condition to keep it in the sun all day, it needs to be able to bask in the sun for at least 3 hours a day. If it is without sunlight for a long time, it is easy for its leaves to lose their green color, turn yellow and even wither.

3. Water: There must be sufficient humidity during daily maintenance, especially in spring and autumn, the soil must be kept moist. In winter, the soil can be kept moist. In summer, while ensuring that the soil is moist, the plants should be sprayed with water twice a day. One is to reduce the temperature, and the other is to increase the humidity. If watering is not timely in summer, the leaves will wilt, yellow and become weak. At this time, you cannot water directly. You must first spray the leaves with water. Only when the leaves return to normal can you water them. Be careful not to allow water to accumulate whenever you water.

Note:

Keeping the soil in the pot clean can effectively prevent infestation by pests and diseases!
