Rotten roots, yellow leaves and no growth? My sister told me this method, the leaves are super green and the roots are strong!

Rotten roots, yellow leaves and no growth? My sister told me this method, the leaves are super green and the roots are strong!

1. Chlorophytum comosum

Although spider plants are easy to grow, many flower lovers still have problems with yellow leaves and dry tips due to management methods.

Solution:

1. Spray water on the leaves more often, once every evening. If the air humidity is low, the leaves of spider plants will easily wither.

2. Don’t place it on the south balcony as the scorching sun will easily dry out the tips.

3. Ferment some rice water and water the plants once a week to effectively alleviate the problem of yellow leaves.

2. Pothos

Summer is the peak growth period of green radish, but people may rarely fertilize it because most of the yellow leaves of green radish are caused by lack of fertilizer.

Solution:

1. For flower lovers who have fish at home, when changing the water in the fish tank, you can take it out and let it air at room temperature for 2 days, and water it twice a week.

2. The sun is very strong in the summer, so you should avoid direct sunlight. It is best to bask in the sun in the morning and move it back to the living room at noon to receive scattered light.

3. The leaves will easily turn yellow if ventilation is poor in summer, so it is best not to place them in places such as the bathroom.

3. Jasmine

The yellowing of jasmine leaves is probably due to iron deficiency and alkaline soil.

Solution:

1. Prepare ferrous sulfate. Dilute at a ratio of 1:1000.

2. Water once every two days and irrigate the roots with ferrous sulfate solution once every two weeks.

3. When watering with ferrous sulfate, place the jasmine in a location with scattered light, away from direct sunlight, otherwise the effect of the ferrous sulfate will be greatly reduced. You can expose it to the sun on the third day after watering.

4. Fortune Tree

The leaves of the money tree turn yellow easily, and the main reason is improper watering.

Solution:

1. Water less. The money tree is already in a semi-dormant state at the current temperature, and if you water it too much, its roots will rot.

2. Don’t move the money tree frequently, as the roots of the money tree will be unstable and its leaves will turn yellow.

3. Spray some water mist on the leaves every 3 days.

5. Clivia

Clivia is actually very hardy. Sometimes it feels like it doesn’t change much for a month.

Solution:

1. Spray some water mist around the leaves and wipe them regularly to prevent dust from blocking the leaves from breathing.

2. It is best to place it in a place where people will not touch it, otherwise the friction will cause yellow leaves.

3. Add beer to water at a ratio of 1:10 and water the roots once a month to supplement nutrients.

6. Lucky Tree

Huahua has a lucky tree at home. After careful observation, Huahua found that the leaves are most likely to turn yellow in summer.

Solution:

1. Do not place it on the south balcony or outdoors. The lucky tree will turn yellow when the temperature exceeds 25℃.

2. Spray water on the leaves in the morning and evening to keep the air moist, which can also help cool down the plant.

3. Water once a week.
