Breeding methods and precautionsThe puff coral prefers a sunny and dry growing environment. It can withstand drought and semi-shady environments, but cannot accept cold, dark and humid environments. It has no obvious dormancy period throughout the year. The suitable temperature for growth is 15-25℃, but it cannot be lower than 10℃ in winter. If you want to plant it in a pot, you can choose a mixture of vermiculite, perlite and peat. You can also use a mixture of coarse sand, vermiculite, leaf mold or garden soil, but you need to add a small amount of decomposed bone meal to the mixture. During the growing period, watering the coral should follow the cycle of watering through the dry spots. During the hot summer, ventilation, shade and controlled watering are required. The soil needs to be kept dry in winter. Fertilizer only needs to be applied once a month during the growing period. Although swell corals are poisonous, they are harmless to the human body if you don't harm them. When raising it at home, try to keep it out of the reach of children. It has a very high ornamental value, and like other plants such as green radish, it has the effect of absorbing formaldehyde. It can be placed next to the TV or computer. |
