2. Water-inserted Kalanchoe

Procedure

In order to make the Kalanchoe grow luxuriantly, we often pinch the tips of the Kalanchoe. But don’t throw away the pinched tips, use them for hydroponics and you will have another pot of Kalanchoe.

1. After pinching, the Kalanchoe will have 3 terminal buds.

2. Take a piece of cardboard and dig three holes to fix the Kalanchoe cuttings.

3. Fix three Kalanchoe cuttings on the cardboard, then take a cup filled with water, place the prepared cuttings on the cup, and the ends of the cuttings should touch the water surface.

4. After about two or three weeks, white roots will grow out, and you can transplant them after the roots are strong.

5. The soil for transplanting must be loose and breathable, because Kalanchoe is a fleshy flower and is particularly prone to rot if there is too much water.

6. After potting, the Kalanchoe can be kept in a cool place for two days to acclimate, and then it can be moved to a place with sufficient light and maintained normally.

Mint water plug

Procedure

1. A good cook cannot cook without rice. Before grafting, you must of course select the cuttings first to ensure that the mint you graft grows healthily and is free of diseases and pests. The stronger the branches, the higher the rooting rate!

2. Find a pair of sharp scissors and cut a mint branch. Try to pick a good branch, about 10 cm in length, with about 3 nodes on it.

3. Pull off the bottom leaves of the mint, and then place the mint branches in a hydroponic container for hydroponics. The mint leaves you picked can also be used to make mint tea.

4. Place the hydroponic mint in a bright, well-ventilated place. Change the water every other day. After a period of time, you will be able to see white roots, which are clean and hygienic.

5. After the mint roots grow out, we can choose loose and breathable soil and transplant the mint into a flowerpot. In this way, the mint cuttings will survive 100%.
