Soaking in water to germinate

Soak the seeds in water and change the water every day. The soaking time varies depending on the seeds. Seeds like money tree and durian can germinate after soaking for one day. Most seeds need to be soaked for 3-7 days. Some seeds, such as those of palm family, can be soaked for 30 days.

Paper towel germination method

Spread the seeds flat on a damp paper towel, then place the paper towel in a disposable lunch box or cover it with a layer of film to create a small greenhouse environment. Then keep the paper towel moist, and when the seeds grow white roots, they can be potted.

Router germination method

Nowadays, many people have routers at home. Routers will emit heat. Wrapping the seeds in wet paper towels, putting them in a small plastic bag and placing them on the router can also help promote germination.

Peel germination method

For seeds with very hard seed coats, such as water lily seeds, the seed coat must be scratched to increase the seed germination rate.
