How to cultivate blue mullet

How to cultivate blue mullet

1. Soil:

The indigo plant has a strong ability to absorb fertilizer, so it is better to use loose, fertile, well-permeable and water-storage soil when cultivating it.

2. Lighting:

Blueberry is a long-day crop, and sufficient sunlight helps it grow quickly. Indigofera has a strong adaptability to light intensity and its light saturation point is relatively low, at 30-50KLx.

3. Watering:

Indigofera has a strong demand for water and the soil must be kept moist at all times. However, water should not accumulate in the fields, otherwise the roots will suffer from oxygen deficiency, affecting normal growth, reducing yield, and even causing plant death in severe cases.

4. Temperature:

Blueberry likes a mild and humid climate, but can also adapt to high and low temperatures, and can withstand temperatures as low as -15°C and as high as over 35°C. The suitable temperature for growth is 15-20℃.

5. Notes:

The main disease of indigo plant is damping-off disease. Before sowing, when preparing the seedbed soil, you can use a small amount of lime water and pentachloronitrobenzene to disinfect the soil for early prevention and control. At the same time, you should also pay attention to the ventilation and light transmission of the seedbed to prevent the occurrence of sudden wilt disease. Common insect pests are diamondback moth and aphids. Pests can be controlled by spraying pesticides, or they can be killed by trapping and killing technology. The effect is better than pesticides and it is also safe for humans and animals.
