Lily - How to grow bulbs

How to induce roots?

1. If the lily bulbs show signs of dehydration, you can soak them in clean water for 1 to 2 hours. The lily scales will slowly absorb water and swell, and then dry them and bury them in the soil.

2. Place the lily on moist vermiculite and keep the temperature at 15 degrees. It will take about 10 days for it to take root.

How to nourish roots?

1. Choose a deep basin

The roots of lilies are generally long, so when planting lilies, you must use slender flower pots to avoid hindering the growth of the lily roots.

2. Watering

Because lilies are bulbous plants, they are very afraid of waterlogging and root rot, so they should be watered when the soil is dry and when the soil is wet.

3. Temperature

The suitable growth temperature for lilies is 16~24℃. Too high or too low temperature will stop its growth, which is very detrimental to root growth.

Suitable plants

Basically, bulbous plants, such as tulips, hyacinths, amaryllis, daffodils, agapanthus, amaryllis, crocus, gladiolus, calla lily, etc. can all be grown using this method.
