Four-season maintenance methods of cinnabar root (wealth seeds)

Spring maintenance method of cinnabar root

In spring, the two most important tasks in growing cinnabar root are repotting and pruning. Generally, repotting and pruning of cinnabar roots need to be combined. Repotting should be done between April and May in spring, and pruning is needed before repotting.

Summer maintenance method of cinnabar root

Summer is the peak season for the growth and flowering of Cinnabar Root. It is necessary to pay attention to maintaining adequate supply of water and fertilizer. When cultivating indoors, you should pay attention to regular watering and spraying, maintain a high air humidity, and strengthen ventilation.

It should be noted that cinnabar root is relatively resistant to high temperatures but does not like strong light, so in summer it is best to place it indoors in a brighter light.

Autumn maintenance method of cinnabar root

In autumn, cinnabar root should be placed in a semi-shaded outdoor area or in a brightly lit indoor area for maintenance. When watering, the main thing is to keep the soil in the pot moist, and it also needs to be watered frequently. Note that you should stop fertilizing in autumn.

As the temperature drops, the water supply needs to be gradually reduced, and the cinnabar roots grown outdoors need to be brought indoors for maintenance in a timely manner.

Winter maintenance method of cinnabar root

In winter, cinnabar root is not very cold-resistant, and the temperature for wintering should be kept above 5℃. Because winter is the fruit-viewing season for Cinnabar Root, it is best to have sufficient light. It can be placed on a windowsill or balcony in the morning and evening. Watering should be done alternately between dry and wet, and it is best to do it at noon when the temperature is higher. Make sure to keep ventilation.
