1. Watering

Potted baby's breath does not need to be watered every day. In the summer when the temperature is high, it is enough to water it twice a day. In the winter when the temperature is low, it only needs to be watered once every 10 days. But make sure to water it when it is dry. Also make sure the pots have good drainage.

2. Lighting

Gypsophila is a plant that loves sunlight, so when caring for it, it should be placed in a sunny and ventilated place, maintaining good air humidity and good lighting conditions, so that Gypsophila will bloom.

3. Pruning

You can usually see a large pot of baby's breath filled with lush plants. Because it grows vigorously, it needs to be properly pruned. Just cut the leaves off at random, and new branches and leaves will grow. The more you cut, the fuller it will become.

4. Fertilization

Because baby's breath grows fast, it consumes nutrients quickly, so it needs to be fertilized to supplement its nutrition. As for fertilizer, you can use compound fertilizer, nutrient solution, etc. When fertilizing, you should also pay attention to the principle of applying small amounts frequently. Basically, it is applied once every 7-10 days, and water should be applied after fertilizing.

5. Repot and change soil

Gypsophila will grow normally under normal care, but the soil must be changed according to a certain regular schedule, so it is generally repotted and changed once every 1-2 years. Of course, the most reasonable time is from February to March or late autumn, with appropriate root pruning and then completely renovating the old soil.
