How to weave a lucky bamboo cage

How to weave a lucky bamboo cage

Most lucky bamboo cages can only be grown in soil. Before weaving a bamboo cage, you must have a pot of lucky bamboo that is growing well at home, or you can directly buy a few pots of straight lucky bamboo from the market.

Dry

Remove the lucky bamboo from the pot, separate it into individual branches, and then trim the roots. After pruning, place it in a cool place to dry for half a day, and proceed to the next step when it is slightly wilted.

Note: Only keep the 6 leaves at the top of the lucky bamboo, remove all the others to expose the stalk of the lucky bamboo. Then wipe the juice on the stalk with a towel to avoid any moisture.

Neatly arranged

Take 10 lucky bamboos and lay them flat on the ground, arranging them neatly with a distance of 7 to 10 cm between each one. Take a look at the schematic:

Then press the other 10 diagonally on top to form a fork shape.

Then tie up all the crossed parts of the lucky bamboo with a ribbon (a simple rope).

After completing the above steps, you can basically prop up the lucky bamboo. Stand the lucky bamboo upright and tie up the remaining two sides to form a cylinder.

Lucky bamboo in pots

After forming a cylinder, the weaving part is basically completed. Then the lucky bamboo is spread out from the top and planted along the edge of the pot. When planting, add more nutrient soil and sand to the pot to increase the permeability of the potting soil.
