How to water the golden diamond

How to water the golden diamond

1. When to water

It doesn't need a lot of water, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't water it. Instead, you should wait until the soil is dry before watering it thoroughly. You can tell whether it needs water by feeling the soil. Its ability to resist drought is actually very strong. If you are in a dry and semi-shady area like an office, you can even water it once every half a month. If you water it too frequently, it may die.

2. Watering quantity

1. Water moderately in spring

It has just resumed its growth in the spring, so you shouldn't water it too much at this time. Just wait until the soil in the pot is dry before watering. Water it once every ten days or half a month, preferably in the morning or before dark.

2. Water in time in summer

The high temperature season is when it grows fastest, and it needs a lot of water and moisture, which is best for its growth. When watering it at this time, not only should the soil in the pot not be allowed to dry out, but the pot should also be kept moist. Normally, spray the leaves with more water to create a suitable humidity while cleaning the leaves.

3. Control watering in autumn

When the weather gets colder in autumn, you can place it in an area with better light and higher temperature, and control the amount of watering. If it is very wet and cold for a long time, its leaves will easily turn yellow. If the situation is serious, its roots will rot and it will die.

4. Reduce watering in winter

When the temperature in the room is relatively low in winter, you should control the amount of watering and temporarily stop adding fertilizer. When watering it in winter, it is better to let it dry than to let it get wet. It is suspending its growth. If you water it too much, its roots will easily rot. In this way, its leaves will grow very slowly by the next year, and it may even stop growing.
