Tips for caring for red sage in four seasons

Tips for caring for red sage in four seasons

spring

The seeds are usually sown in April , and the latter are potted on a closed balcony in March . After planting, provide appropriate shade until the plants survive.

Spring is the early growth period of impatiens. The soil should be kept moist and sufficient light should be ensured. Top the plants 3 to 4 times depending on their growth conditions to promote the formation of short and plump plants. Water and fertilize in time after topping.

The planting variety is dwarf red hibiscus, which can be topped 1 to 2 times depending on the situation. (Topping in spring is very important. Missing the opportunity will affect the beauty of the plant.)

summer

Ordinary red bunch

It is resistant to high temperatures and does not require shade for maintenance in summer, but it is necessary to water it in time when the temperature is high to prevent the plant from lack of water and drying out. When flower stalks appear on the plant in late summer, increase the frequency of watering appropriately, keep the soil in the pot moist, and apply fertilizer once.

Dwarf red

It is not resistant to high temperatures. Once the temperature reaches above 30 °C, it will grow poorly or even die. Place the potted dwarf red hibiscus on a north-facing balcony, provide shade, and keep the soil slightly moist to avoid water accumulation and rot. When the temperature is high, sprinkle water around frequently to lower the temperature. As the weather gradually gets cooler in late summer, you can increase the light and apply appropriate fertilizer.

autumn

Autumn is the peak flowering season for impatiens. Keep the soil moist and ensure sufficient water and light.

After the flowers fade, you should promptly cut off the branches, apply appropriate fertilizer, and control the temperature between 18 and 25 degrees Celsius so that they can grow branches and bloom again. The temperature drops in late autumn, and the flowers have no ornamental value after they wither. Besides, impatiens is an annual plant, so they can be pulled out after the flowers wither.

winter

No maintenance is required during the winter, the plant has died back and can be replanted in the spring!
