Cultivation methods and precautions of iron chopsticks

Cultivation methods and precautions of iron chopsticks

1. Astigmatism

The helleborus likes plenty of diffuse light, especially during the growing seasons of spring and autumn. It is important to maintain sufficient sunlight to synthesize nutrients and promote growth. The summer sun is quite strong and the plant cannot be exposed to strong light at this time. Appropriate shade is needed to prevent the leaves from being burned.

2. Water in time

When growing iron chopsticks, timely watering is needed to replenish sufficient water. It likes moisture and should be watered in time during the vigorous growth period in spring and autumn. The temperature is relatively high in summer and the evaporation rate is very fast, so it must be watered enough. The watering time can be selected in the morning and evening. Starting from late autumn, the temperature gradually drops and you need to reduce watering and keep the soil dry.

3. Reasonable topdressing

In order to promote growth, sufficient fertilizer and water support is needed. In addition to ensuring sufficient base fertilizer, top dressing should be done at least three times a year. Fertilizer should be applied in time after germination to promote growth and development. Fertilizer should also be applied in time before and after flowering, and once again before autumn turns to winter. Pay attention to the concentration each time you apply fertilizer, and do not apply concentrated or raw fertilizer.

4. Suitable soil

To cultivate iron chopsticks, you need to provide soil suitable for growth. Choose soil with good permeability, which can be mixed with garden soil, river sand, and peat soil.

5. Pay attention to pruning

In addition to daily maintenance, you also need to pay attention to pruning, cut off the withered flowers in time after flowering, and remove the old leaves in time.
