When to sow baby's breath seeds and how to plant them

1. Time

When sowing baby's breath seeds, the temperature must be kept at at least 15℃. It can only germinate if the environment is suitable. Under normal circumstances, sowing can be carried out in spring and autumn. In spring, it can be carried out around February to May, and in autumn, it can be carried out from August to October. If sown at this time, the seeds will germinate faster.

2. Planting Method

1. Prepare the substrate: When sowing and propagating baby's breath, you need to prepare some substrate with good drainage first. Generally, you can mix humus, garden soil and coarse sand for use. Before sowing, it is best to disinfect to prevent pathogens from infecting the seeds.

2. Seed selection and germination: If you want to increase the germination rate after sowing, you must choose seeds that are uniform and full, and do not use damaged seeds. Then soak it in water and wrap it with a wet paper towel to germinate.

3. Start planting: Place the seeds on the soil surface, leaving some distance between each seed, and then cover them with a layer of soil. After sowing, the temperature needs to be adjusted to around 15-20℃, and pay attention to watering it to keep it moist, and finally wait for it to germinate.

3. Planting and maintenance

After the seeds germinate, don't rush to fertilize them. Place them in a diffuse light environment for the time being and wait for about a week for them to gradually see the light.
