How to propagate jasmine? Is the survival rate of jasmine high?

1. Breeding Methods

1. Cutting: Jasmine cuttings are more commonly used, and the time can be chosen to do it in autumn, with a relatively high survival rate. Before cutting, choose suitable loam, which should be loose, soft and well-drained. It can be prepared with sand, vermiculite, perlite, etc. and must be disinfected before use. Choose one to two-year-old plants, cut off strong young branches, cut the bottom into an oblique cut, remove the leaves at the lower end, dip them in rooting water and insert them into the substrate, maintain good temperature and moisture, and they will take root after a period of time.

2. Layering: The time for layering is generally chosen from May to June. This method is very simple and easy to operate. Choose a strong plant, choose a vigorously growing branch from it, and then press it into the soil, cover it with soil, and spray water frequently to keep it moist. It will take about 40 days to take root.

3. Sowing: Before sowing jasmine, you must first select the seeds and germinate them before sowing. Soak the seeds in clean water for 2 days, then take them out and place them in a warm place to germinate. Prepare suitable soil, then sow the seeds evenly. Water them in time while waiting for them to germinate. Keep the soil moist and they will germinate soon.

2. Is the reproduction survival rate high?

The survival rate of sowing with seeds is slightly lower, and layering and cuttings are more commonly used.
