Cultivation method of Huangshan Bauhinia

Cultivation method of Huangshan Bauhinia

1. Soil

Huangshan Bauhinia is suitable for cultivation in fertile, moist, well-drained sandy or culture soil that is not too deep. It grows best in perlite.

2. Temperature

It has a certain degree of cold resistance, and an environment of 10-25℃ is most conducive to the health of its stems and flowers. Attention should be paid to insulation during the winter period. It can be planted in greenhouses and sheds, and the temperature should be controlled not lower than 5℃.

3. Fertilization

Fertilization should be carried out in a timely manner, and fertilizers containing various elements can be applied along with water according to its growth potential and growth conditions. You can choose to use organic fertilizer and farmyard manure, reduce the frequency of using chemical fertilizers, and prevent the soil from becoming compacted and airtight, which will affect its growth.

4. Watering

It prefers a humid environment. After growing up, the Huangshan Bauhinia is relatively drought-resistant, and the leaves will only turn yellow after 20 days of continuous drought. After germination, the leaves should be sprayed frequently to prevent withering and death. It is not tolerant to waterlogging, so attention should be paid to drainage to prevent root rot and death.

5. Lighting

It requires sufficient daily light hours. Insufficient light will lead to poor growth and affect its ornamental value.

6. Notes

1. Deal with surrounding weeds in a timely manner.

2. Spray pesticides in advance for prevention and control in spring and autumn when pests and diseases are more prevalent.
