How to grow yellow bell wood

How to grow yellow bell wood

1. Soil

It requires fertile sandy soil containing organic matter. If conditions permit, you can mix some leaf mold into the soil to increase soil fertility, and then sterilize it. Good soil is the key to successful planting.

2. Temperature

The most suitable temperature for its growth is between 23-30℃, and it is not cold-resistant. It cannot be planted outdoors in northern regions. It is recommended that friends who grow potted plants maintain them at home or in a greenhouse and keep them warm in winter.

3. Watering

When watering, pay attention to watering as soon as the soil surface is a little dry to keep the soil moist. In winter, when evaporation is low, it is appropriate to water less to prevent its roots from rotting.

4. Lighting

It needs plenty of sunlight, and if possible it is best to be outdoors in full sunlight. Especially in the seedling stage, if there is insufficient light, its branches will become soft and its growth will be very poor. It is recommended to plant it in potted plants in places such as balconies at home.

5. Notes

1. Fertilization: When planting it, you can add compound fertilizer or organic fertilizer into the soil as base fertilizer. If the growth is not good in the later stage, you can apply more fertilizer.

2. Pests and diseases: You can sterilize the soil before planting and be prepared for the occurrence of longhorn beetle pests. Once discovered, use pesticides to kill insects immediately.
