1. Flowering time

Generally speaking, roses start to bloom from May to June every year and basically wither in August. However, due to the influence of different rose varieties and different breeding environments, some ordinary rose varieties may begin to wither in June and July, while four-season roses can continue to bloom until winter. For example, roses in Jiangsu will bloom in April and wither in May, while roses in Beijing are just beginning to bloom.

Roses grown in the natural environment will only bloom once a year. Greenhouse-grown roses may bloom two or three times a year.

2. Maintenance during flowering period

Light: Roses love light, especially when they are blooming, so it is even more important to ensure that they can receive sufficient light. Adequate sunlight can make its flowers more vivid and bright, and the flowering time will be relatively prolonged.

Water and fertilizer: You can apply thin fertilizer once every fifteen to twenty days, and water it immediately after fertilizing. Make up for the energy and nutrients it consumes during flowering, making the flowers bloom more charmingly.

Ventilation: During its flowering period, try not to expose it to strong winds. This may cause some blooming flowers to fall, affecting their ornamental and economic value.

Humidity: Roses like moisture, so when they are blooming, try to provide a relatively humid environment. You can increase the humidity in the air by spraying around them.
