1. Different varieties

Trumpet creeper is a common climbing vine with a woody stem. The aerial roots on the plant can climb along the wall, which is very obvious and can distinguish it from the latter, and it does not need to rely on other plants to grow.

Morning glory is a plant belonging to the genus Morning glory of the Convolvulaceae family. It is an annual twining herb that needs to twine around other plants to grow. It is also called morning glory, trumpet flower, and morning glory.

2. Different leaves

The edges of the leaves of the trumpet creeper have coarse serrations, and they feel rough to the touch, but there are no large cracks on the leaves.

The edges of morning glory leaves are very smooth, but there are cracks on them, some are deep and some are shallow. Most of them have 3 cracks, and some have 5 cracks. The cracks are oblong or oval in shape.

3. Different flowers

The trumpet creeper is divided into petals, and the colors of the outside and inside are different. The color inside is brighter, bright red, while the color outside is lighter and darker, orange-yellow.

The flowers of morning glory have no petals and come in many colors, including purple-red and blue-purple.
