How to grow hibiscus on the balcony, what should be paid attention to

1. Light supplement

Hibiscus can tolerate partial shade, but it also likes sunlight. Only by maintaining sufficient light can the stems grow strong, the branches and leaves grow lush and vigorous, and the flowers become larger and more beautiful. If there is a lack of light, growth will be restricted. In order to promote normal flowering, potted plants maintained at home need to be moved to the balcony and exposed to light. However, proper shade is still needed in the summer and prolonged exposure to the sun is unacceptable.

2. Provide soil

In order to ensure the growth needs, the soil needs to be good. It can provide nutrient-rich leaf mold and mix it with coal slag and river sand. Do not choose heavy soil and it must have good drainage.

3. Regular water supply

It likes to grow in a moist environment and the soil cannot be allowed to dry out. The frequency of watering should be determined according to its growth conditions. In summer, the climate will be relatively hot, so you can water the plant once a day, and make sure to water it thoroughly each time.

4. Apply fertilizer

Only by maintaining sufficient fertilizer can it grow well and cannot be kept in poor soil. Fertilizer can be applied every half a month to maintain growth and flowering needs.

5. Temperature guarantee

It likes a warm growing environment, but is relatively cold-resistant. To ensure good growth, the temperature can be kept above 10℃.
