How to grow the hairy tamarisk

How to grow the hairy tamarisk

1. Maintenance methods

1. Temperature: Generally speaking, warmth is the most suitable temperature for it, that is, between fifteen and twenty-five degrees. However, whether in winter or summer, it has a very good tolerance to temperature. It can withstand temperatures as low as minus 27 degrees Celsius and as high as 43 degrees Celsius. Therefore, generally no special measures are required.

2. Light: It is a light-loving plant, but it can also tolerate partial shade. However, in extremely shady conditions, it will only bloom and the amount of fruit will be very small. So, try to give it enough sunlight.

3. Watering: It is very intolerant to waterlogging, and too much watering will cause great damage to its root system. Therefore, not only should you not water too much, but the accumulated water caused by too much rain must also be drained out immediately to avoid damage.

4. Fertilization: The hairy ash tree does not require much fertilizer. In addition to the nutrients in the soil, top dressing can be applied once a month or two months.

2. Breeding techniques

1. Reproduction: Its reproductive ability is relatively strong, and a commonly used method is sowing. In mid- or late September, you can pick the seeds and store them in a cool and ventilated place. Sow in the spring of the second year. Soak the seeds in fifty-degree water before sowing. It is best to sow in sandy soil. After sowing the seeds, cover them with a layer of soil about two centimeters thick and then flatten them. After that, remove the surrounding weeds in time and maintain humidity.

2. Pruning: Normally, some leaves of the plant may become dry or yellow due to various reasons, and they need to be cut off in time. In addition, proper pruning is also required before entering winter.

3. Problem diagnosis and treatment

1. Diseases: These are mainly diseases targeting leaves, such as leaf blight and rust, which require timely spraying and more ventilation.

2. Pests: There are not too many pests at ordinary times. In addition to controlling the pests themselves after they appear, it is best to disinfect the soil appropriately first.

IV. Other issues

1. Toxicity: The hairy wood is non-toxic and harmless.

2. Can it be raised at home? As mentioned in the previous article, its height is very high, so it is generally not raised at home and is not suitable for being kept at home.
