Cultivation methods and precautions of Daruma Fu Niang

Cultivation methods and precautions of Daruma Fu Niang

1. Soil

When growing Daruma nymphaeaceae, you need to use soil that is breathable and has good drainage, and the soil should not be too sticky. You can mix garden soil, peat soil, vermiculite and an appropriate amount of crushed expanded clay. This kind of soil is more conducive to the growth of plant roots.

2. Lighting

It does not require very much light, as long as it is shaded in the summer during maintenance. It cannot accept too strong light, so it needs to be shaded when the sunlight is strong. In spring and winter, it can receive sufficient light. The maintenance environment cannot be too dark, otherwise it will easily grow too tall.

3. Water

It will grow faster when there is sufficient water, so it needs to be watered in time. When watering, it is important to water thoroughly, but the amount of watering needs to be controlled in summer because it will go dormant in a higher temperature environment. You should also ventilate the plant more often and try to avoid keeping it in a too dark environment.

IV. Precautions

The temperature of the maintenance environment should also be adjusted within an appropriate range. The most suitable temperature for its growth is around 15-25℃. Temperatures that are too high or too low will hinder its growth. The most important thing to pay attention to is the winter temperature, which must be kept above 5℃.
