Frangipani cultivation methods and precautions

Frangipani cultivation methods and precautions

1. Soil

To cultivate frangipani, you need to use fertile soil with a certain drainage capacity. For potted cultivation, you can mix garden soil, garbage soil and river sand in a ratio of 2:2:1. It is best to add some organic fertilizer.

2. Lighting

It should be allowed to receive as much light as possible, but it needs shade when it is just potted or after repotting. The more sunlight it receives during its growth period, the more luxuriant the plant will grow. In winter, it should be moved indoors as early as possible and placed in a place with sufficient light.

3. Watering

When watering the frangipani, be sure to water it thoroughly, and do not water it unless the soil is dry. In spring and autumn, it is generally watered every 1-2 days. In the hot summer weather, it is best to water every day to supplement the growth needs. In winter and the rainy season, the amount of water should be controlled and no water should be retained in the soil.

4. Fertilization

When repotting in spring every year, you should apply enough base fertilizer. Fertilizer should be applied every 15-20 days during the growing season. The fertilizer should be decomposed thin fertilizer. The temperature is lower in winter, so the plant may stop growing. There is no need to fertilize it at this time.

5. Notes

It grows relatively fast, so the pot should be changed once a year, preferably in spring. Replace the potting soil with new one and add an appropriate amount of base fertilizer so that the plant will grow more luxuriantly.
