Difference Between Citron and Lemon

1. Differences between branches

The branches of citron are usually covered with many small thorns, but the young branches are smooth to the touch and purple in color.

There are no thorns on lemon branches.

2. The difference between leaves

The leaves of citron are mostly oblong or obovate, the leaves are usually large and not fragrant.

The wing leaves of lemon are wide or narrow and look very small, but if you smell them carefully, you can smell the scent of lemon.

3. Differences in Fruits

Citron fruits appear to be relatively large, with diameters of most exceeding 10 centimeters, which is even larger than oranges.

Lemon fruits are small, and most of them are less than 10 cm in diameter. If you still can't tell the difference, you can cut the fruit open and you will find that its internal structure is also very different.
