Why are some leaves of the green radish in a pot particularly green?

Why are some leaves of the green radish in a pot particularly green?

1. Harm caused by small amount of fertilizer

If some leaves of the green radish in a pot are particularly green, it may be caused by a slight over-fertilization. When there is slight fertilizer damage, some leaves of the green radish will become thicker, the color will turn dark green, and the surface of the leaves will feel bumpy. If you add fertilizer and water to the green radish, it is likely to cause serious fertilizer damage, causing the green radish to have yellow leaves and wither leaves. When the green radish suffers from slight fertilizer damage, we just need to stop fertilizing and continue normal maintenance, and there will be no impact on the green radish.

2. Uneven fertilization

Some leaves of the green radish in a pot are particularly green, which is probably caused by uneven application of foliar fertilizer. For example, when potassium dihydrogen phosphate is sprayed on the leaves of green radish, some leaves receive more fertilizer and water. Without excessive fertilization, these leaves that are topdressed with sufficient fertilizer and water will grow stronger, become larger and greener.

3. Uneven lighting

If some leaves of the green radish in a pot are particularly green, it may be caused by uneven light. First of all, we must ensure that the plant fully carries out photosynthesis, so that there will be more chlorophyll in the body of the green radish, and the leaves of the green radish will be greener. For the leaves of the green radish that do not receive enough light, the color of the leaves will be relatively lighter, so during daily maintenance, you should rotate the pots frequently to ensure that the plants receive consistent light. The leaves of the green radish will become greener if it carries out sufficient photosynthesis, but it should also be kept away from direct sunlight to prevent the plant from being sunburned and getting sunburn.
