How to grow succulent flowers so that they can bloom

1. Choose the right variety

If you want to grow succulent flowers to the point where they are full of pot size, you can choose varieties that are easy to grow full of pot size, such as Ji Qiuli, Ji Longyue, Hong Zhilian, Tia, etc., which are easier to grow.

2. Pruning and beheading

Succulent flowers also have apical dominance, so if you want to promote the growth of the flowers, you can pinch off the tips of the leaves and destroy the heart of the leaves. This will encourage the lateral buds to sprout and grow. When the lateral buds grow larger, the flowers will grow out of the pot. For some succulents that are not easy to grow side branches, you can directly cut off the top, and the cut top branches can also be grafted next to them, which can increase the speed of blooming.

3. Adequate light

Most succulent flowers like sunlight. Only by ensuring sufficient light can they promote rapid growth, make them grow vigorously, and promote the blooming of the pot. Therefore, they should be kept in a well-lit position. Except for proper shading in the summer, they should be exposed to more sunlight in the other three seasons.

4. Supplemental fertilizer

Fertilization is also a very important factor. You should apply enough base fertilizer when potting. Do not ignore the base fertilizer when repotting. In the later growth stage, you must pay attention to applying fertilizer.

5. Drug germination

If you want to achieve the goal of the succulent plants blooming as soon as possible, you can use medication. You can buy germination hormones and apply them to the stems of succulent plants. This will promote the germination of a large number of side buds and achieve the goal of the succulent plants blooming as soon as possible. However, improper use may cause deformity, so it is not recommended.
